Space Goat Productions
Comic Production Company Welcomes Former Dark Horse Senior Editor
July 15, 2014 – Bellingham, WA) – Space Goat Productions proudly announces the addition of former Dark Horse Senior Editor Dave Land to our growing team of project managers.
Land has worked as a comics Editor since 1996 including fifteen years with Dark Horse Comics where he rose to the title of Senior Editor overseeing titles such as Star Wars, Tony Millionaire’s Sock Monkey, Sergio Aragonés Groo, and Conan. His books have won three Eisners and one Harvey and he has had the great fortune to work with two successive Russ Manning award winners in 2003 and 2004.
He’s worked with licensors including Lucasfilm, Fox, Blizzard, Pixar, and Disney as well as some of the world’s best comics creators including legends such as Jerry Robinson, Al Williamson, and Carlos Meglia. Dave has also been known to dabble in comics writing and is overly-proud to have been a part in creation of Werewolves on the Moon: Versus Vampires with the Fillbach Brothers. Coming onboard in mid-2014 as a Project Manager, Dave brings a keen eye for talent and razor-sharp management skills to the Space Goat team.
When not searching for the world’s next great comic artist, Dave spends his time trying not to take life too seriously with his wife, dog, and two cats in Portland, Oregon.
Space Goat Productions welcomes Land onto the team and looks forward to utilizing his invaluable knowledge and experience as our company continues to grow.
“I’m really excited to be joining the Space Goat team and am looking forward to being a part in the creation of some great comics,” said Land.
From IP generation to writing and editing to pencils, inking, coloring, lettering, all the way through pre-press and print-brokering, Space Goat Productions is the production and packaging team perfect for anyone’s project of any size and on budget. What more could you want?
